Beam - Handmade Watercolours - Earth Shimmers - Tin of 7 Colours

A full rainbow of colour made from hand gathered earth pigments. The inclusion of ethically sourced mica makes them shimmer like the sun off of a lake.

  • Chickadee - a yellow ochre harvested from near the Beam workshop on Manitoulin Island.
  • Lake Trout - steeped with indigofera tinctoria plant, producing a pale indigo
  • Northern Pike - a combination of the Manitoulin Island yellow ochre tinted with indigofera tinctoria; a unique pale green
  • River Rock - a subtle violet grey earth
  • Salamander - made with red clay from central Manitoulin Island
  • Steelhead - a warm grey ochre

This set includes paintstones in each of the Earth Shimmer colours plus the mica-laden Shell. All seven colours fit neatly inside a handy screw-top tin.
