Join us for a relaxing plein air picnic at Daniels U of T.
Whether you are a hobbyist, or professional, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to build a scene in changing light, how to handle your materials for on-the-go painting, and receive live feedback while enjoying the summer breeze together. Challenge yourself to a limited colour palette, while learning how to execute an outdoor scene, from underpainting to texture-making.

Costumed Life Drawing

An informal costumed life drawing session, Tuesdays at Gwartzman's!
Join fellow creatives, practice techniques, experiment and relax. What to expect Doors will open at 6:30pm. Each session will feature different costumes and models. We will start with short pose/quick gesture, and progressively move into longer poses at approximately 15-20 minutes in length. There will be a short break half way through.
Gwartzman's workshops and events are perfect for challenging yourself with new media, learning new skills, and meeting other artists and creatives in Toronto. Whether you're looking to get out and make friends, experiment with the perfect craft session, or surprise someone with a creative date night, you're bound to find something here!
