Join us for an engaging half-day bookbinding workshop where you'll discover the art of sewing with two needles and create a stunning Starburst stitch on the spine of your journal. This stitch features radiating lines that form a captivating geometric pattern along the spine of your journal. This stitch allows the journal to lay flay when open and is perfect for writing, drawing, sketching or collaging.
Once you have mastered this technique, you'll be surprised at how quickly you can assemble these. Each participant will leave with 2 completed journals, along with the newfound confidence to create more on their own.
No experience necessary! All tools and materials are supplied.

About your instructor
Margot Cudmore is one-half of Pomegranate Letterpress + Design Studio from Oakville, Ontario. A former advertising executive, she’s been exploring bookbinding for over 15 years and loves learning new techniques, infusing them with her own style to create simple, purposeful journals. Teaching allows her to help spark creativity in others and she is always happy to share her knowledge in supportive and collaborative workshops.
