Liquitex is the home of acrylics since 1955. Founder, Henry Levison had perfected a commercially viable water-based acrylic - the first acrylic gesso, called Liquitex, a perfect blend of liquid and texture. 

All Liquitex acrylic paints are formulated by a talented team of chemists with a wide array of skills in resin technologies and artists who help them to stay focused on the working properties. This team produces  the most versatile ranges of intense, highly loaded, permanent colours possible. 

Over 6 decades later, Liquitex is keeping Henry’s inventive spirit alive and is always pushing the boundaries of newness.
