Patent gold leaf, also known as transfer gold leaf, is sold with each leaf individually backed on tissue paper.

Each leaf measures 86 x 86mm (3 3/8 x 3 3/8") and each book contains 25 leaves. A full book covers approximately 0.17 square metres (1.98 square feet).
