Shikishi boards are made from washi papers mounted to a hard backing board and edged with a gold foil. The Gasen paper used has a textured white absorbent surface. Traditionally used for sumi-e, watercolour, and haiku painting. They can also be used as a substrate for multimedia projects.

Includes five boards measuring 7.5 x 7.5cm (2.95 x 2.95") and 2mm (1/16") thick.

Made in Japan.
