Highly pigmenting, vivid colours that become permanent when dry. Inktense works like a watercolour, suitable for washes, detail work, and blending, except that it can be used to create new layers without reactivating the layers beneath. What's more, the staining power is strong enough to work on a variety of surfaces, including fabric!

Inktense pencils can be used as colour pencils or blended with a little water and a brush. They have a round 8mm barrel with a wide 4mm core.
