Thursday July 9, 6:00-8:00PM
📍Gwartzman's Art Supplies
📍448 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON
We're taking things outside for this session to paint golden hour looking south on Spadina Ave.
Overview
Join us for a relaxing plein air picnic at Daniels U of T. Whether you are a hobbyist, or professional, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to build a scene in changing light, how to handle your materials for on-the-go painting, and receive live feedback while enjoying the summer breeze together. Challenge yourself to a limited colour palette, while learning how to execute an outdoor scene, from underpainting to texture-making.
Paints, brushes, and surfaces will be provided for this session. Feel free to bring any food and beverages you'd like. We'll have 2 varieties of cold brew tea and some pastries from local bakeries.
We highly encourage you to come out and make some friends (or bring one!), in this Plein Air session.
Oh, and, don't drink the paint water!
